Screenprints produced over the past decade distill the most iconic of images from my ongoing painting investigations. These prints feature imagery that draws on geology, underground mining and industrial architecture and looks to the iconography of sign painting. Often, references to historical painting are rendered absurd through anthropomorphism of structural forms. The results are strange and ominous narratives that have the potential to mirror human experience.
